into |
| |
| Are you aged between 13 and 24, at school,
college, uni, unemployed, on a government training scheme or
already volunteering? If you answered yes to any of these questions
you can be part of NVYA. |

| What do I have to do... |
| |
If you're already volunteering you may not
have to do anything extra unless you want to. The project is
completely flexible and you can bank your hours if you need
time for something else.
There are lots of ways of gaining your Awards, volunteer with
an organisation or charity, develop your own youth led project
or get involved in one of the exciting projects that are taking
place in your area. |

| What can I do if I get involved... |
| |
Here are a few suggestions of things you
can do to get involved:
- Work with a charity or organisation such
as Beavers, Brownies, Age Concern etc.
- Work with animals
- Raise funds for charities by putting
on events in your area
- Create a sensory garden
- Design websites for charaties
- Get involved with community forums
- Coach sports
- Be a youth mentor
- Organise a community art festival
- Put on a fashion show
- Run a talent show for young musicians,
singers and dancers
Lots of things count towards NVYA hours
such as Duke of Edinburgh, School Community Service, Young
Enterprise, and lots more. |
